Lexington High School Alumni, Inc. has created a $ 15,000 endowment with the Community Foundation of Rockbridge, Bath, and Alleghany which will fund an annual scholarship to a college-bound senior at Rockbridge County High School, thus memorializing LHS in perpetuity. We would like to raise the endowment to $ 25,000 which would enable us to increase the amount of the scholarship or give more than one per year. Donations in any amount can be mailed to Lexington High School Alumni, Inc. at 625 S. Main Street, Lexington, VA 24450, or you can contribute on-line (using PayPal) on the Community Foundation's website www.cfrba.org. Please consider making a donation (it's tax-deductible). If 500 alumni each donated $ 20 we would reach our goal. |
